Miah’s first Puppy

As some of you may already know we have 2 mini Bulldogs, Miah and Zoey. Miah looks like a pug, unfortunately and Zoey the younger one looks like an English Bulldog. We had a litter with Miah earlier this year and a cool little puppy named Beasley was the only surviver from the ordeal. Beasley’s owners just sent me these updated pictures of her, she is over 4 months old and weighs in at a scale busting 15.7 pounds.  I had to throw these up for people to check out, we have been super curious to see how she has grown.

Look at that underbite!

You can go to my Bite Size Bullies site to see the other dogs, there is a link on the right in my links section.

First Assignment

I was excited about this here is my first assignment from my new web design job.  It gets turned into the client to get looked at this weekend, so lets hope they don’t think it sucks! This would be my second church website, I have a feeling that more are still to come.

Good Music…

My buddy, Chad Green told me that Hillsong had a new cd that just came out, so I downloaded it last night on Itunes.  Wow, this thing is good they continue to amaze me with the power and anointing that comes with their worship. Definately pick this cd up and listen to With Everything, This is our God.

New Job…

I have been desperately trying to get a new job in the web/graphic design field lately, and that turned out to be quite a task.  I interviewed and/or talked seriously with 3 companies, and one a company called 29 Eleven which is owned by a really cool christian guy, is giving me a shot.  I will be an independent contractor for them, and hope that can turn into a employee situation down the road, so I can get some benefits! I am super excited about this, it will allow me to increase my portfolio, get some experience that is relevant on a resume, hopefully learn some new tricks of the trade and most importantly still do ministry! Boo-yah grandma (that was from Nicki Stevens if you were wondering).

Great week passed my test, got a job… hopefully I can give a good message on Saturday and Sunday too seeing as how I am holding down the fort at House of Freedom this weekend…

Relief….

What is this you ask….?  This is the look of relief Allison and I both passed our Bible licensing test today.  We arrived at 8:30 AM to start the process and didn’t leave until about 2:00 PM.  We took the test, passed, and then had an interview about being credentialed (which went well). Basically in a couple weeks I will be wanting everyone to call me BISHOP…lol.

Thanks for everyone who prayed for us, we needed it through the stressful process.

Good Music…

My wife, Allison, and friend of hers Tori won tickets to a lunch with this guy playing at it in Des Moines. His name is Newton Faulkner, and this guy can play. Check out this video and watch the crazy stuff he can do, especially with percussion on his guitar (that parts at the end).

Studying and Coffee….

Well I have turned over a new leaf you could say, this week I have succumb to pop culture and started a Facebook page and I have started this blog.  The Facebook was started out of a joke… a friend of mine Tyler Baird thought he could refrain from dating for 6 months, so we started a group in Facebook for him to stay single, basically I told him if he accepted the challenge of being single I would start a Facebook page…. And now I have a Facebook.  Since I was on a roll with the Facebook, I figured what the heck I’ll start a blog too while I am at it.

Besides that news basically I have been studying my rear off for a bible licensing test that I will be taking on August 12th.  The test is massive and I am super nervous, hence the picture of me and my good friend, coffee.
